My Diabetes, Stagnant for Years, Found Direction Here I had been visiting the internal medicine clinic near my home for years, but my HbA1c levels remained stagnant, fluctuating between 6% and 8%. Even though I visited every month, I was merely prescribed the same medication repeatedly; it was difficult to receive specific advice on lifestyle adjustments or adjustments tailored to my changing condition. Eventually, I was shocked to receive findings of coronary artery stenosis (I5 1.8) during a detailed cardiac examination. As soon as Vice Director Bae Ji-hoon of Myungjindan saw the test results, he accurately pinpointed the situation. He presented a clear goal, stating, "At this age, the 8% range is too high; you need to lower it to the 6% range." After reviewing every single medication I was taking, he prescribed Maunza and added a medication to improve insulin sensitivity. This was completely different from the previous clinic, where I had only received the response, "Let's wait and see," when I personally requested a dosage increase. The results came faster than expected. Observations using Libre2 showed that in less than a week, my average blood sugar dropped from the 220s to the 120s—a decrease of approximately 80 to 100. My peak blood sugar stabilized in the 160s, down from the 300s, and even the digestive discomfort (bloating, belching) that had plagued me for years improved noticeably. What I am most grateful for is the proactive approach. Assessing the situation and suggesting necessary measures before the patient even asks, and explaining why a specific prescription is needed in a way that I can understand—this is exactly what I had been unable to find for years. I sincerely recommend this to anyone feeling frustrated by a stagnant progress in their diabetes management.

I had a 3T MRI and a consultation due to knee pain. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, and the cost was affordable. The entire process, from the examination to the explanation of the results, went very smoothly. The detailed and easy-to-understand explanation of the MRI results was a great help. The medical staff were also very kind. In fact, I had previously visited a hospital in the U.S. for knee issues, but there, they only took X-rays and the explanations were half-hearted. The cost was similar to getting a 3T MRI here, but I was very disappointed that they didn't even perform the MRI. When I asked why my knee suddenly hurt, the doctor made a joke; although I knew it was a joke right away, it wasn't very pleasant from a patient's perspective. On the other hand, here, they meticulously explained the cause and test results, and answered my questions kindly, which gave me much more confidence. I was satisfied with everything from the appointment to the examination and the cost, and I recommend this place to anyone considering a medical checkup.

This was one of the best medical service experiences I have had in Korea. The facility provided comprehensive care, including blood testing, CT scanning, and personal consultations with doctors and staff. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs internal medicine services or CT/MRI evaluations.

This was my first time having a health check-up at this hospital, and I had a wonderful experience. Every staff member was kind and welcoming. Whenever I had a question, they took the time to explain everything clearly, which I truly appreciated. I had a comprehensive health check-up, including an upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, brain MRI, and abdominal CT scan. I was especially grateful that the doctors reviewed the results with me on the same day. I’ve been to other health screening centers that felt very rushed and factory-like, but this hospital was completely different. The care felt personal and attentive. I will definitely come back here for my next health check-up. It was the first time I had a medical checkup at this hospital and I had an excellent experience. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Every time I had a question, they explained it to me patiently and clearly, which I really appreciated. I had a complete checkup that included an endoscopy, a colonoscopy, a brain MRI, and an abdominal CT scan. I was also very impressed that they explained the results to me the same day. At other medical centers, I'd found the atmosphere very impersonal, almost like a factory, but this was completely different. The care was warm and personalized. I will definitely return to this hospital for my next checkup.

My husband's sister came from Kyrgyzstan. After a car accident, she continues to experience pain in her left knee and ankle, so we went to this clinic for an MRI. The staff was very friendly from check-in to the examination itself, and they answered all our questions thoroughly, making us feel at ease. The clinic was clean and comfortable, and the examination was professional and convenient. We're currently waiting for the results, but we're already very pleased with our visit. Thank you 😊🙏

My elderly mother had a severe cough, so I took her to a primary care clinic, where they advised her to go to a large hospital for a CT scan. I was worried because I couldn't get an appointment at a nearby university hospital right away, but the clinic referred me to Myungjindan Radiology Clinic. Typically, radiology clinics specialize only in X-rays like CT scans, so I tend to have lower confidence in their interpretation of images; however, having no other alternative, I took her there immediately. When we arrived, the hospital was much larger than I had expected. It had a fairly diverse range of departments, comparable to a medium-sized hospital. The reception staff were a bit stiff, which left me feeling a bit uneasy, but the female doctors who placed my elderly mother—who has difficulty understanding instructions—on the machine and performed the CT scan were incredibly kind. I was so grateful that they cared for her and performed the scan well even without a guardian present. They even went the extra mile to make a copy of the disc first so we wouldn't have to wait for the reading, telling us to return to the clinic to check the results via fax. The results sent by fax were accurate as well. I was very thankful!

The staff were very kind, and most importantly, I haven't seen a hospital in a long time that does its best for patients with the latest equipment and customized services tailored to quick schedules. Furthermore, with reasonable prices, it is a truly recommendable hospital that is easily accessible and convenient for international visitors as it is close to the airport. The reception desk was friendly. Since my internal medicine department didn't have a CT scanner, I went to get a CT scan. The young doctor in the family medicine department was friendly and thorough in asking my questions. The radiology doctors on the 4th and 5th floors were all friendly, and I was reassured and satisfied to see them skillfully inserting thick needles into thin lines. However, the head of the family medicine department recommended a blood test, which my hospital had recommended anyway. Since I was fasting for the CT scan, I told them I would get it done at the same location. The head of the family medicine department carefully listed the test items and requested the test. After waiting, the doctor who gave me the injection on the 5th floor told me that I should get the blood test at my internal medicine department. I don't know much about medical law or procedures, but in what felt like a perfect hospital, the radiology doctor on the 5th floor said, "You don't know much about it," as I looked toward the family medicine department, and I felt my image plummet. The treatment was good, and everything else was good, but regardless of rank or position, I think it would be good for coworkers to be a little more careful with their words and actions, especially in front of patients. I am leaving a review because I am grateful for the good treatment I received and hope it will contribute to the hospital's development. Thank you to the doctors who treated me.

A year ago, I had a physical examination in Gangnam, and I wanted to choose only the tests I wanted and pay a reasonable fee for them, but I was told that I had to do all the tests included in the examination package thst I didn't want to do. But so the cost was the same even if I didn't do one or two exams in the package. Therefore, I decided not to go to that center that forced me to do unnecessary tests. At Myeongdiagnostic Imaging Center, it was convenient that I could book only one test that I really needed when I made a reservation, and they also make it a package regular check-up. They don't overtreat, so next year, I plan to visit with my husband for another follow-up examination.
