Keep the tape on and apply cold compresses for up to 3 days after surgery; we recommend using a damp towel instead of washing your face with water. From the 4th day, you may remove the tape and begin warm compresses, face washing, and light makeup. Eye makeup is recommended starting 2 weeks post-surgery. Swelling is most severe on the 3rd to 4th day and subsides after about 2 weeks; conjunctival edema typically improves within 1 to 3 weeks. Avoid bending over or straining your face for 2 to 3 weeks, and exercise and saunas are recommended only after 1 month. Please refrain from drinking alcohol and smoking for 1 month. Use the prescribed eye drops 4 times a day for 2 weeks.
