Symptoms such as gum bleeding, swelling, bad breath, and loose teeth can be signs of gingivitis or periodontitis. Gum treatment is performed in stages after a precise examination of the periodontal condition and the progression of inflammation. For early-stage gingivitis, scaling is used to remove dental calculus and plaque; for mild periodontitis, root planing is considered; and for moderate periodontitis, periodontal curettage is considered. If alveolar bone loss has progressed, periodontal surgery may be necessary. After treatment, periodontal maintenance (SPT) is performed to prevent recurrence and help maintain natural teeth for a long time. Depending on the patient's condition, adjunctive treatments such as PDRN gum injections may also be considered.
Treatment information is for reference only and may vary depending on individual conditions. For accurate details, please consult with the facility.

Risks and Notes
Temporary bleeding, pain, swelling, or tooth sensitivity may occur after gum treatment. As inflammation and swelling subside, your gums may appear to recede or the spaces between your teeth may feel wider, and if the tooth roots are exposed, sensitivity may persist. On the day of treatment, avoid irritating, hot, or hard foods, and brush gently according to the medical staff's instructions. Since periodontal disease can recur, consistent oral care, regular check-ups, and Supportive Periodontal Therapy (SPT) are necessary. If pain or bleeding is severe or persists for a long time, please contact the dental clinic.
Keep your natural teeth healthy with personalized, step-by-step gum treatment. Bleeding, swelling, or bad breath from the gums can be signs of gingivitis or periodontitis. After assessing the condition of your gums and alveolar bone, our clinic performs step-by-step treatments including scaling, root planing, periodontal curettage, and periodontal surgery, depending on the progression of the condition. Following treatment, we provide Supportive Periodontal Therapy (SPT) to consistently monitor gum health, and if deemed necessary by our medical staff, we may supplement treatment with PDRN gum injections. The treatment method and frequency may vary depending on your individual periodontal condition.
