Risks and Notes
After the procedure, you may experience redness, swelling, pain, bruising, headaches, or temporary facial asymmetry or awkwardness in facial expressions at the injection site. In rare cases, eyebrow or eyelid drooping, facial muscle weakness, double vision, or allergic reactions may occur, and most symptoms vary by individual. In very rare cases, the effect of the botulinum toxin may spread beyond the injection site, potentially causing generalized muscle weakness, speech impairment, difficulty swallowing, or difficulty breathing.
