Gwanggyo Samsung White Dental Clinic
24-hour Laminate

24-Hour No-Prep/Minimal-Prep Laminate This is an aesthetic treatment that naturally improves the shape, color, and size of teeth, as well as spaces between the front teeth. Gwanggyo Samsung White Dental Clinic analyzes your facial shape, lip line, tooth alignment, gum line, and occlusion to design front teeth that suit your overall impression. Using digital intraoral scanning, we precisely capture the tooth morphology and provide a preview so you can see the expected results before treatment. We use high-precision milling of ceramic blocks with a strength of approximately 400MPa and express individual colors and textures to achieve natural-looking results. When applicable, we perform no-prep or minimal-prep procedures, and for certain indications, the entire process from scanning to fabrication and bonding can be completed within approximately 24 hours. ■ Consider this treatment if: You are unhappy with the color or shape of your front teeth You wish to improve microdontia (small teeth) or worn-down teeth You have small gaps between your front teeth You have chipped or unevenly sized front teeth You want natural-looking results in a short period of time Please note that the no-prep method or 24-hour fabrication is not suitable for all cases. After a precise examination of the degree of protrusion, tooth alignment, occlusion, existing prosthetics, and gum health, we will recommend the most appropriate method among Laminate, resin, or orthodontics.

Recommended for

  • Recommended for those who: Are concerned about the color or discoloration of their front teeth Have uneven tooth size or shape Have small gaps between their front teeth Wish to improve chipped or worn front teeth Desire a natural smile transformation in a short period of time Prefer aesthetic treatment that minimizes tooth reduction as much as possible Depending on the degree of tooth protrusion, alignment, occlusion, and gum condition, resin or orthodontic treatment may be more suitable than Laminate, so a decision will be made after a precise examination.

Procedure Benefits

  • Laminate Advantages of the procedure It can simultaneously improve the color, shape, size, and small gaps of the teeth. It can express a color and translucency similar to natural teeth. Depending on the indication, it can be performed with a no-prep or minimal-prep approach. It can change the appearance of the front teeth in a shorter period than orthodontic treatment. It is relatively resistant to staining and wear, making it easy to maintain. You can preview the expected results before treatment. Applicability and results may vary individually depending on the condition of the teeth and occlusion.

Risks and Notes

Laminate Side Effects and Precautions Temporary sensitivity or occlusal discomfort may occur after the procedure, and in rare cases, root canal treatment may be required. Laminate may crack or become dislodged due to strong impact or bruxism (teeth grinding), and poor oral hygiene may lead to tooth decay or gum inflammation at the margins. Do not bite hard foods with your front teeth, and avoid habits such as biting your nails, ice, or pens. Maintain thorough oral hygiene with a soft toothbrush and dental floss, and if you have bruxism, a protective guard may be necessary. If you experience persistent pain, looseness, fracture, or discomfort when chewing, please contact the dental clinic. Laminate may require tooth reduction depending on the condition of the tooth, and future repair or replacement may be necessary.
