We do not simply recommend the strongest or most popular treatment. We first examine what is currently causing the concern, what treatments have been received before, and how the skin and facial condition have responded. Based on this evaluation, we determine priorities and design an appropriate combination and sequence of treatments. [Personalized Facial and Skin Analysis] The same concern can have different causes. Facial sagging may be related to skin elasticity, facial structure, volume distribution, fat and soft tissue, or the direction of sagging. Enlarged pores may be associated with excess sebum, skin laxity, depressed skin around the pores, or hair within the pores. For pigmentation, we identify the type, depth, distribution, previous treatments, and skin-barrier condition. We also consider why previous treatments may have shown a limited response. This approach allows us to treat the cause and current condition rather than simply repeating the same procedure. [Lifting] NUWA Clinic Gangnam offers various lifting treatments, including Ultherapy Prime, Thermage FLX, XERF Lifting, Titanium, and Thread Lifting. Each treatment uses a different energy and works at a different depth. The appropriate treatment, treatment area, shot count, and energy level are adjusted according to facial shape, skin elasticity, degree of sagging, and treatment goals. Different lifting treatments may be combined when their mechanisms complement each other. Lifting may also be combined with skin boosters or volume treatments when skin quality or volume balance needs to be addressed. [Skin Boosters and Regeneration] Improving skin condition is an important part of long-term facial care. Depending on the skin condition, treatments such as Rejuran Healer, ASCE+ Exosome, Re2O, Juvelook, Skinvive, Hyaluronic Acid Skin Booster, Radiesse, or Autologous Stem Cell may be considered. The purpose is not to add as many treatments as possible, but to select what is appropriate for the current condition and treatment goal. [Pigmentation and Melasma] Pigmentation requires different approaches depending on its type. We first identify the pigmentation that is most concerning, review previous treatments, and evaluate its depth, distribution, intensity, and skin-barrier condition. PicoSure PRO is an important laser option for pigmentation. Treatment parameters such as spot size, energy, and treatment mode can be adjusted according to the pigmentation and skin response. Flat, Focus, and Zoom Pass may be used for different treatment purposes. For melasma, treating pigment aggressively is not always the priority. When the skin barrier is weak or the skin is sensitive, stabilizing and restoring the skin barrier may be more important. Derma-V may also be used for redness, vascular concerns, and vascular melasma. Depending on the condition, Derma-V may be performed before or after other laser treatments. [Enlarged Pores] Pores can appear enlarged for different reasons, including excess sebum, aging-related skin laxity, depressed skin around the pores, or hair. Treatment is therefore selected according to the main cause. Pore treatment usually requires ongoing management, and the treatment plan may be adjusted at each visit rather than repeating the same procedure every time. [Acne and Acne Scars] For active acne, calming the sebaceous glands and controlling the current inflammatory condition are important priorities. We also consider cleansing and managing the pores where sebum can become trapped. After active acne improves, acne-related redness and pigmentation may be treated with Derma-V and PicoSure PRO according to the skin condition. For depressed acne scars, PicoSure PRO Fraxel, Potenza, skin boosters, and Enpuls FX may be considered. Deep or prominent scars may require stronger resurfacing, but resurfacing alone is not always sufficient. Regeneration and improvement from within may also be needed, so treatment is adjusted according to the condition at each session. [Combining Treatments] We do not believe that more lasers automatically mean better results. Two or three treatments with different targets may sometimes be combined so that each addresses a different aspect of the skin without unnecessarily using high energy in one treatment. Mosaic 3D may be combined with laser treatments to support skin regeneration. Potenza uses microneedle radiofrequency and may be considered for pores, acne scars, skin texture, elasticity, and regeneration. Potenza may be particularly useful when acne or melasma is severe, when the response to laser treatment is slow, or when the skin is sensitive and needs a stronger focus on overall condition and regeneration. It is often combined with ASCE+ Exosome and may also be combined with PicoSure PRO, PicoSure PRO Fraxel, or Derma-V depending on the treatment goal. [Lifting and Skin Condition] Lifting, skin regeneration, and skin quality are closely connected. Depending on the patient’s condition, lifting treatments may be combined with skin boosters or regenerative treatments to support elasticity and overall skin condition. Facial contour management may also include Contour Injection or NUWA Cheekbone Reduction Injection when appropriate. If certain areas lack volume, fillers may be considered according to facial structure and balance. The priority is always determined after evaluating the current condition.
