This is for a general checkup. My friend went without an appointment before 9 AM on Friday. With an appointment, you can fill out a questionnaire in advance, which allows for quicker entry, but due to the crowds, you'll still have to take a number and wait. The dental clinic seems to have a collaborative approach. They ask if you'd like a separate checkup. The system is very well-organized. Because there are so many staff, there's almost no waiting, and you can get through quickly. However, if you need an endoscopy or ultrasound, it will take longer. Overall, it took about 40 minutes. Excluding the waiting time at the reception, it takes about 30 minutes.

I visited for a health checkup. It starts at 7 a.m., so I arrived right on time, but I was number 124... *shivers*. They said registration opens at 6:30. I waited about 50 minutes just to register, but the checkup itself went by really fast. The endoscopy was quick, and everyone was friendly, so it was the best hospital I've been to so far. It's the same KMI, but the one in Gangnam wasn't very good...

It's much larger than the previous location, Daegu City Center, and parking is convenient. I've had my workplace checkups here every time except for two in Daegu, and when I worked in Seoul, I used to get them at the Gangnam branch, but Daegu seems to have better facilities. Since it hasn't been long since the move, I think there are advantages in terms of facilities.

This is the health screening center located on the fifth floor of the Daegu City Center (Novotel). My American son-in-law visited here for a checkup. At first, I thought it was for foreigners without health insurance, but it was already overflowing with people from 7 a.m. Apparently, it was a group of company employees seeking checkups. Perhaps that's why it feels a bit like a factory? Still, the facilities are clean and nice.
