I did the standard medical check up and recommend it! Some logistical info I wish I had as a foreigner: You can make an appointment online and just need to bring your passport when you arrive. After check in they give you a lanyard which is both the key to a locker (where you’ll have a robe and slippers) and also your ID card essentially that you tap in to the different exams. They’ll send you to an information desk first and then they’ll give you a room number for the first exam. Outside the room is a screen and you’ll tap your card at the bottom and wait for your turn. When it’s your turn you’ll see your name in Korean on the screen and it’ll be said aloud also from the screen. You then tap your card inside the room. The whole thing took just under 4 hours including endoscopy. All of the staff spoke enough English to facilitate and were super kind and helpful and patient throughout. It is a bit like factory/conveyor belt vibes but as an introvert I loved this lol. A couple of the exams had pretty long wait times near the end (waited like maybe 30 minutes for the BMI one for example) but otherwise they were pretty quick.

Visited in November 2024 This is my second health checkup at the KMI Yeouido branch. I use this place because the transportation is convenient and it is relatively close to my home. It seems there is a severe rush at 7 AM. Looking at other reviews, it seems to be busiest on Fridays. I always get my endoscopy without sedation, and they are really good. Both times I had it done without sedation, and their skill is amazing.

When visiting early in the morning for an examination, perhaps due to the large number of people, the desk staff responded like robots; they told me to refer to the information guide instead of asking questions because they didn't have time, indicating a need for courtesy training.
