SmartSight NOVA Side Effects and Precautions Expected Symptoms After surgery, you may temporarily experience dry eye, a foreign body sensation, glare, halos, blurred vision, or fluctuations in vision; most of these symptoms will gradually improve during the recovery process. In lenticule-based vision correction surgery, complications such as inflammation, residual myopia/astigmatism, irregular astigmatism, or issues related to lenticule removal may rarely occur. Post-operative Precautions Do not rub or press on your eyes, and use the prescribed eye drops and artificial tears according to the medical staff's instructions. During the initial recovery period, be careful not to let water or foreign substances enter your eyes, and it is recommended to avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, swimming, and eye makeup for the duration advised by the clinic.
