The incision Hair transplant method involves harvesting scalp tissue containing healthy hair follicles from the occipital region, meticulously separating the follicles, and transplanting them into areas affected by hair loss. This surgical method can be considered when a large number of grafts are required for extensive areas such as the frontal region, hairline, or crown. A personalized transplant plan is established by comprehensively assessing the extent of hair loss, hair density, the condition of the hair in the occipital region, and scalp elasticity. During the pre-surgical consultation, the design is planned by considering the transplant area, number of grafts, density, and hair direction. After sedation, local anesthesia is administered to harvest the tissue containing hair follicles from the occipital region. The donor site is then sutured, and the separated follicles are transplanted according to the planned design. The procedure aims to achieve a natural hairline and improve overall hair density by considering the direction and distribution of existing hair. Post-surgical care is provided in stages. On the 2nd day after surgery, the bandage is removed, and the first shampoo and disinfection are performed. On the 4th to 5th day, shampoo and disinfection are repeated, and on the 10th to 12th day, the sutures in the occipital region are removed. A scalp care program can be initiated approximately one month later. Transplanted hair may temporarily shed after surgery, and new hair typically begins to grow around 3 to 4 months later. Changes can be observed as the hair gradually grows, and the exact transplant area and the number of grafts required will be determined after consultation with the medical team.
