Risks and Notes
After the procedure, you may experience temporary gum sensitivity or mild tooth sensitivity, which usually subsides within a short period. It is recommended to avoid smoking and foods that cause staining, such as coffee, black tea, and wine, for 1 to 2 hours immediately after the procedure. Anesthesia is not included. If you have severe gum disease or significant tartar buildup, separate gum treatment or scaling may be required first; in such cases, follow-up care is not included. Results may vary depending on individual oral conditions and lifestyle habits.
How is it different from ultrasonic scaling? Conventional ultrasonic scaling uses vibration to remove tartar, which can sometimes cause sensitivity or discomfort.
