This is a procedure where a high-concentration whitening agent is applied to the tooth surface at the dental office and activated with a light-curing unit to brighten the tooth color. Compared to at-home whitening, the change per session is more significant, and because it is performed with a gingival barrier applied, gum irritation can be reduced. Risks and Notes
For 24 to 48 hours after the procedure, you may experience tooth sensitivity to cold food or air. If the whitening agent comes into contact with your gums, they may temporarily turn white or feel a stinging sensation, but this usually resolves within a few hours. For 48 hours after the procedure, please avoid foods and habits that cause strong staining, such as coffee, black tea, wine, curry, berries, and smoking. If you have untreated cavities, gum inflammation, or cracked teeth, we recommend that you undergo treatment for those conditions before proceeding with whitening. We do not recommend this procedure if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18 years of age.
High-concentration Professional teeth whitening available only at dental clinics Our clinic utilizes a light-irradiation system using a teeth whitening laser device. We use high-concentration Osstem genuine whitening agents, which are more potent than the self-whitening products purchased at pharmacies or online. Since the procedure is performed at the dental clinic with your gums protected, the degree of change per session is significant, and it is easier to manage sensitivity.
